Does Consuming Non-Nutritious Stuff Affect One's Health
When I work with clients I teach them how to nourish their body using only FOOD. When I say FOOD I am referring to anything that is only made up of nutrients. AND it does not have chemicals, added sugar, flour or damaged fats. For my clients who like bread there are a variety of very delicious breads out there that have no flour, so this is definately not deprivation. So, when my clients start eating only FOOD what I am seeing over and over and over is their health improving.
If you look at Cristina/Graves Disease when she started to work with me she was at a very critical point in her illness such that, as she puts it, she had to make a decision to let the doctors kill her thyroid. She was consuming a lot of things that stimulated her body such as sugar, flour, and caffeinated beverages. In addition, she was putting into her body chemicals that served no purpose in her body. All I did was flood her body, in a balanced way, with every nutrient the body needs while removing all of the non-nutritious things. I taught her about the FOOD alternatives to things she enjoyed. Examples of some of the FOOD choices she enjoys are bread, tortilla chips, and a really good mayonnaise and the list goes on. Today she is symptom free and off of medication for her thyroid.
Another example of how eating only FOOD and removing all other things improves health is two clients of mine were suffering with symptoms of asthma when they began working with me. They were using inhalers. Once they started to give their body all of the nutrients it needed from FOOD they no longer suffered from these symptoms and no longer needed their inhalers.
Because of the health improvements I am seeing with my clients only after they stop consuming non-nutritious stuff and start eating only FOOD I have to say that I definately believe that the way people are nourishing their body with non-nutritious stuff probably is the cause of many of the illnesses people are living with.
WHAT DOES CATHERINE BELIEVE THE BODY NEEDS????
I want people to understand that NUTRIENTS are what the body needs (Unless you are born with something that does not work right such as those with Type 1 Diabetes.)
The NUTRIENTS are: fat, cholesterol, vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates, fiber, water.
Nutrients are what the body uses to do all of the functions it needs to do in order to keep the body running right.
These need to be consumed in a balanced way.
But DAY AFTER DAY people are doing things such as:
1. Eating too much of one of these nutrients
2. Eating things with chemicals such as soda or artificial sweeteners (TRY STEVIA)
3. Eating too much sugar or flour
4. Not eating all of the nutrients such as no fat or no carbs.
5. Dieting such that they are depriving the body of most nutrients
6. Consuming stimulants such as caffeine or drinks that give you energy
7. Consuming damaged fats.
Again, when I see my clients start to give the body all of the nutrients from eating FOOD while NOT putting anything that is non-nutritious in their body I see them have great improvements in their health.
If you think about it:
1. What do the chemicals from soda do in your body since they serve no nutritional
purpose.
2. If you continually eat non-fat you are not giving your body this nutrient which
is needed for so many vital purposes within the body.
3. If you eat damaged fats your body can not use them so what are they doing
to the body while in there.
4. What if you only put into your body what it needed and you never put into
it anything it did not need? Many people are NOT doing this and many people
are living with illnesses.
Would you put no gas in a car and expect it to drive? Then why are people putting little to no carbs into their body and expecting their brain to run right? Would you put damaged oil into your car and expect it to run right? Then why are people eating damaged oils and expecting their body to run right? Would you put soda with all of those chemicals into your car instead of water and expect it to run right? Then why are people putting soda into their body and expecting it to run right?
IF you are suffering from an illness you might try giving your body ONLY FOOD while removing everything that is non-nutritious BECAUSE this just may be the answer you have been looking for. I am seeing this happen over and over and over.
I have done a lot of research to find many of the FOOD alternatives to the non-nutritious things that people eat. You can go to the movies and eat FOOD popcorn; I was amazed at how yummy this is. You can barbecue with a FOOD version of beef hot dogs; these are very very good. I have made FOOD french fries and my family could not believe how delicious these were. My niece even said they were better than the french fries at fast food places. You can make enchiladas if you like these. The list just goes on...
